It’s no secret that Mabo Kids is one of my very favourite children’s clothing brands. Mabo is a household name in our family and the designer/founder, Emily, a wonderful friend. The clothing is both incredibly sweet and easy to wear as well as durable and extremely well made.
The rompers, for example, are not only incredibly cute – but they have three different button holes on the back straps, so they grow with your child and last for a long time (usually two years in our case). The pinafore dresses are perfect for all seasons – worn on their own in the summer, or paired over shirts and tights in the winter. Ivy has had the same pinafore wrap dress for three years and it’s definitely the most versatile item she owns. And the organic cotton basics are so soft and thick — they can’t be beaten for their quality.
The new collection is my favourite one yet. And Emily has just designed the most gorgeous t-strap leather shoes which compliment her timeless clothing perfectly. Cuteness overload!

I absolutely adore Mabo! Each season Emily manages to make it even more dreamier. The quality is great too and they keep so well to hand down.
Where is the gorgeous straw hat from – can’t see it on their website…
Do you have any UK stockists?
Thanks Courtney for introducing me to this brand a few years back. My husband might not thank you 😉 I always get so many comments when my kids where there Mabo clothes and the new shoes are perfect for thme coming Aussie winter.
Love Mabo too! It’s a pity that the don’t have any European stockists yet. I don’t like to pay duties. Now I wait till the sale, but mostly is sold out by then 🙁
And she inspires me too to sew my girls’ clothes in her ‘Mabo-style’. Simple patterns in beautiful fabric! I love Robert Kaufman and Liberty now too! 😉
I liked Mabo before I met Emily – but now that I know her a little – Mabo is the number one clothing brand I recommend to friends. Emily is so genuine about her work!
Loooooove mabo and always recommend. It’s so simple and beautiful. And it was through babyccino I discovered it a year or two ago and I’m sure Emily will thank you for introducing me (Emily it’s me, I buy everything in multiples.) 😉
Such a beautiful brand and such a beautiful woman behind it. I’m a fan of both! xxx
