Forivor is a British brand creating award-winning organic illustrated children's bedding that inspires a passion for nature and magical sleep. These are luxury, echanted pieces, destined to foster sweet dreams and happy childhood memories, and to become treasured heirlooms.
Presented in a beautifully finished hardwearing organic Forivor suitcase, the illustrated, reversible bedding is accompanied by a set of Character Cards that provide fascinating facts about the wildlife on one side of the duvet. On the reverse you'll find storytelling cues for the creatures they become when you turn over your bedding at night. For littler dreamers there is the equally stunning illustrated baby blanket option. Also reversible, this blanket is quilted and can also be used as a playmat, and comes complete with baby character cards and suitcase. Complete the dreamy look with a cushion or the absolutely stunning reversible wall hanging.
Forivor is the creation of Hackney-based Rebecca Attwood and Alice Ross. Inspiration came when Rebecca was writing a short story for her goddaughter, and tried - and failed - to find exciting organic bedding to accompany it. Rebecca, inspired by her work with British designer Katharine Hamnett and the Environmental Justice Foundation wanted to create a beautiful, ethical and sustainable product, and joined forces with Alice, illustrator and Project Coordinator at the British Museum and The National Portrait Gallery, who was excited to bring her distinctive illustrations to this original idea.
Forivor are committed to supporting and inspiring the protection of our natural world and all its wildlife, whilst providing an opportunity to learn and explore our imaginations. Their organic bedding is made to the highest ethical and environmental standards in India. Fabrics are created from cotton that is rain-fed and grown without the use of toxic pesticides. It is printed, cut and sewn people paid a fair wage to ensure a sustainable livelihood for themselves and their families. The finished products are sent by sea freight to reduce carbon emissions. Truly perfect, then, for a good night’s sleep!
